  2. Well, I'm a C++ developer / quant, having worked in finance in the past 15 years (with some interruption working for a Google Maps competitor) so I mean definitely not a web developer. I maintain that site whenever I remember it, like now I know the SSL certificate has expired but can't bring myself to replace it as it seems a terribly complicated procedure to do manually, and I ain't paying the £100+ per year preposterous sum that GoDaddy asks from me to do it in one click. So for now it's stuck like this but I intend to revive it sometimes this year.

Also, activity on that site and my YouTube channel is correlated with enthusiasm to sell my trading strategies for mucho dinero. Which comes and goes. Sometimes I find something exciting and almost think it's worth a ton of money, only to discover after extensive testing that I omitted some small yet crucial aspect which changes everything.

Like a few years ago I was soo caught up in the mathematical beauty of the model I developed (I almost got a PhD in math before abandoning it but I have an electrical engineering / technical university background so quant math is not a problem), which appeared to work marvellously on all markets until I hit Japan and it completely broke apart and then I also discovered that accidentally I was feeding the future into the model input. Even with that it fared bad on Japan :)

Also I don't publish failed results because failures are nothing but ramps to future successes. Once I understand what and why fails, I build upon that. And combining several fixed failures I get something that works well if not great.

Anyway, now I got fresh results and they look promising enough to make some money out of them, personally first then selling some of them. It's like, sell the lesser strategy to make money for the better one.

So, keep checking that site since new exciting stuff is coming soon! :)

    Had free ssl with cloudflare.
You can just use them as proxy.

"GitHub Pages" is a good low-cost option I use sometimes too... only static web sites though.

That's right but once I got myself a domain name I went with cloudflare. Most of it is free for static websites. You can even link your github repository hosting the website.

Yeah, you may have to pay GH Pages to add DNS... I typically just use a redirect. Great poem btw in that other thread
