Why bomb al Zarqawi house?

  1. Maybe this has been covered in the other thread, but I haven;t read it. My question is, if they knew he was in that house, which apparently was somewhat isolated, why not watch it to prevent escape, but instead of just blowing it up, send in a snatch and grab team to try to capture him and at least some of his commanders alive? Then keep quiet about it and torture the crap out of them and get as much info as possible. Then and only then, say that he had been killed, blown to smithereens and nothing left to autopsy? Oh yeah, and say that one of his inner circle had given him up for the reward, just to create a little paranoia.

Of course, I suppose it's possible that is exactly what they did, but given how transparently clueless our commanders seem to be, I doubt it.

Oh yeah ... I do like your style !!!!! But I'm thinking that where he already escaped twice before, the military commanders didn't another portion of crow a l'orange con egg-in-the-face.
