Why aren't all genius's rich?

  1. There are different type of Geniuses i think.I think they don`t try,but actually see ahead of time. But some of them see just too far,Vincent van Gogh fo instance.Died very poor, and you can google the prices of his paintings nowadays.Others can see not that far,Page and Brin for instance. They was able to see at the junction of the times,at the beginning of the trend,so to speak:D But they are ahead of time one way or another.

Thats why not all of them rich i think.

  2. That's a good thread. Thanks.

I'm not anywhere near being a genius, but I overanalyze & micromanage the hell out of things sometimes; that just doesn't work.
Maybe a person with a really high IQ would have trouble with that also.

Plus like some of have stated it's a game against yourself just as much as anything else. I guess you could call that emotional intelligence, and I don't know of any tests that quantify that kind of intelligence.

I person could be an intellectual genius, but an emotional idiot. :)

  6. Here is mine:D :D

    Overall results

Far from being a Type A, you possess the characteristics of a Type B personality. Type B persons have a "stop and smell the roses" attitude towards life. They are very relaxed and rarely become hostile, aggressive or competitive. Open-minded and forgiving, they are of a flexible nature. Type B persons tend to follow either an "Everybody Must Win" or "Live and Let Live" credo; they have a more passive slant to their personality. In either case, whether to fight a cause or simply stand up for themselves, Type B persons lack the drive that could help them achieve their goals. According to your score, you should work on building up some drive and dynamism. Otherwise, your laissez-faire attitude can cause you to miss out on important opportunities. Pushing yourself and competing a little bit for your place in the sun can certainly add some spice to your life.

  8. trading isn't just intelligence - it's like a performance.. the problem with intelligence is that it doesn't often let you "step out of the way"....

A bullfighter who performs will kill the bull....otherwise... enjoy your theory..
