Why are you trying to achieve the impossible?

Yep, we grow by doing things that are hard, by challenging ourselves. So many fail at this not because trading is hard (which it is) but because they are weak, lack work ethic, and resort to excuses and external blame rather than do the things both technical and personal to succeed. Many professions are "hard" but unlike trading, many have barriers to entry and significant hurdles to clear prior to having the opportunity to perform in the profession.

I agree totally... and trading successfully does go with increased self knowledge and growth.

And there are few barriers to trading other than getting one's self out of the way. As RedNeck put it once.

  7. The title is "why are you trying to achieve the impossible?"

Great goals sometimes require achieving what others might say are impossible.

Overwhelming odds fall away with faith and the creator. "Who shall stand against me if God is with me?"

Part of the reason for blowing up is risk management. A much bigger part is psychology. Getting an understanding and grip on your own mindset.
