Why are we borrowing even more to give Pakistan more aid?

Chinese are way more smart than the Stupid Indians. They started their economic reforms in 1980 a good decade ahead of Indians who waited until the stupid USSR went out of business.

I don't think it's a difference in intelligence. They are Communists, not Socialists. Possibly more able to impose top-down operations. I offer this only as a comment, not a compliment.

  4. We ain't much smarter than the indians. Look what we did .....

Had the Pilgrims killed cats instead of turkeys, we’d eat pussy every Thanksgiving.

  6. Here is the bottom line...

These people are poor and children are suffering.
No need for bleeding heart bs. Organizations providing humanitarian aid are already engaged and are sure to ramp up their donation drives.

If it makes you feel better send $100... by the time it gets there it will be too late and 20% or so of your contribution will be banked for the next disaster... 80% will be pocketed by the not for profit.

Anyone that wants to attack or restructure Pakistan would or should do it now. Afghans, Al Q, Indians or Somali Pirates... doesn't really matter Take over the mess now and clean house... Chances are high that at least 10% of their population are going to die with or without aid and it will take a decade at minimum to build new infrastructure.

We all feel bad and have sympathy for the human tragedy... Their displaced and suffering population are no enemies...

Militarily an opportunity to seize control of the nukes and as capitalist this is an opportunity for commerce.

  7. That's wrong notion hyped by media... atleast 60% of the money goes for the worst. I'm saying so because I've lived on this part of the earth.

The only solution is empowerment of weaker sections in these economies, propagating human rights etc. The established system want the weak to remain weak for easy rule.

  8. My comment was anything but uneducated. I've read Cold War history and am familiar with the historic relationship between the ISI and CIA.

The fact of the matter is, the CIA and ISI collaborated VERY closely (as well as the GID) when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan.

I never once said the relationship was "amicable". I said they were an ally. There is an enormous difference. Perhaps before dismissing a comment as uneducated and false, you should carefully read the post so you can properly respond next time.

  9. We have our own folks who are struggling and children here in dire situations.

I prefer we take an America first policy. Let the Germans etc.. pony up aid.

    We need to cut spending.

  10. Agreed. Stopping the imperialism goes both ways. No more bases and less aid too. You can't have it both ways. As the saying goes clean up your yard before pointing at your neighbors.
