  2. I'm sorry, but you come off like a wuss here. Like someone else said, trading is cutthroat. No one is going to give a rats ass about you and if you say dumb shit, you will get called out on it.

Now, thats not to say that all traders act a certain way. Perhaps there have been several that come to mind for you but dont group everyone into the same category.

  3. If I become an asshole, maybe I'll be a more successful trader. My warm, and giving personalty will never make it in this business.

You're the second person to describe this as a "Cutthroat" business. But WHAT high paying business IS'NT hard to break into?... law, medicine, tech, and others... . I guess those fields are full of snobish assholes too?, but i guess that's ok because they're "Successful"..shame. I grew up thinking that being kind to people was the way to get ahead.

  4. We've seen your juvenile lackadaisical approach towards trading. If you don't have what it takes to play with the big boys, perhaps you should just run along home and suckle your momma's teet for comfort. Because if it's sympathy you seek, the only place you're going to find it is in the dictionary between $hit and syphilis.

  5. "We've seen your juvenile lackadaisical approach towards trading. "

    awesome.

"If you don't have what it takes to play with the big boys, perhaps you should just run along home and suckle your momma's teet for comfort "

Well she has two of them, and because I'm a kind person, I'll be willing to share. Interested ?.

"Because if it's sympathy you seek, the only place you're going to find it is in the dictionary between $hit and syphilis. "

And is that the same place where you found the word "lackadaisical" ?.

  6. I'm sorry ( well actually I'm not), but I'd rather be an "ok" trader, and be a great person, then be a jack-ass and be a master trader.....

but I should not say that, because here on ET money trumps all. Having a bright personality obviously is not a popular life choice among a sea of traders.

  7. Well perhaps you should find a new forum then? If this is how you feel, dont waste you time with people that you dislike so much.

  9. Well, if its not such a burning issue right now (bad enough to leave) perhaps you shouldnt start threads complaining about how traders treat you and rather spend the time working on being a better trader yourself? Oh, and grow a thicker skin. No offense but you dont sound like a mentally tough enough kid right now.

  10. Honestly, trading is like any other competitive endeavor in that it attracts competitive ppl and most of these folks have big egos. Why? Because they have some level of confidence in their abilities otherwise they wouldn't risk their money. You find the same types in sales, law, or medicine. Show me a brain surgeon and I will show arrogant and condescending individual.

Trading is a cutthroat biz. It's the most pure form of capitalism when you think about it. I know a small percentage of successful traders that are humble ppl., but they are in the minority.
