WHY are these numbers not the same!??

    one of them includes commission, the other does not.
     
  8. No, I pay a 7.00 commission, 62.06 + 7 does not equal 62.14.
     
  9. Wow, just wow. Does $4,964.80 + 7= $4,971.80 or $1,302 + 7= $1,309? You pay for each trade, and you made 2 trades. The $62.06 and $65.10 are the gross prices you paid, the $62.1475 and $65.45 include commissions (per share). It's just total costs/number of shares to get the average.

    All those numbers add up 100% correctly. It's very very basic math, what is tripping you up?
