Why are these financials trading with such high P/Es?

  2. Most likely answer is that the "E" in your equation is recent historical earnings, whereas the stocks trade on future expected earnings.

    Do your homework. This doesn't even rise to Valuation 101 and if u hadn't noticed, this site isn't called Noobtrader.
