RenTech was a huge vol-seller and shorted against the box for tax deferral (IRS settlement). If you're going to go rogue to that extent then how much was pure alpha and how much was pure degen?
Question is why bother posting to a forum? I came hoping to learn something and prepared to help other if I could. Pay it forward if you will. I'm self taught and would have appreciated a push in the right direction while I was learning, although I would have probably ignored any advise I got that I didn't agree with. Seems I have to learn the hard way.
There are proven profitable traders on ET ( I presume) but the real question you should be asking, is for how long has the trader been profitable? Then how long before the trader blows his account 1-2-3-4-5 months maybe a year, then starts over again? But he was profitable for that given time.
To quote someone else, there are plenty of threads with real trades so do some research, you are getting trolled because your post was a troll demonstrating a justification to support your own difficulties in trading.
Seems like this guy is buy/hold after a market crash, most of that was just a few stocks going all in with savings.
Good Evening Ricky Roma, My cousin just did 6 years in prison for armed robbery. He only been out of jail for 2 months. He is up about $50,000 trading ES futures in 2 months. He just click click click before going to full time work like me. So now we both got 2 hustles so far. ES futures and our full time jobs to make some money. And we about to go hustle options market too. All he do is click click click. I told him just click and make money don't think about nothing else in life. You have to be a hustler to be a good day trader and quick on your feet. And you have to know how LOVE risk. That's the bottom line. I cant explain it to you but I don't know, you never been poor before so too hard to explain. I can tell you a tip to help you. STOP taking this trading serious. Just stop working hard in it and have fun. Just go make money. Like that's it. It's not hard as you making it. Most importantly stop asking people for help. Just figure it out yourself. Nooone is going help you make money unless you family member. In AMERICA to be rich a family member have to give you secrets.
Was in L.A. area couple months ago and tried out the Aventador, being 6'6" and 270lbs it was a tight fit, my left knee got stuck between door and steering wheel LOL. Had to open door to undo. There is nothing to gain by posting brokerage statements and expert traders can figure out from fills or times or dates the systems traded. There are very few systems that can't be identified. Those who can beat the Indexes are less than 2%, Buffet has beat the index 39 out of 58 years. Certainly not luck. Most think it is good stock picking... ever consider the stocks are the hedge of options sold? Better traders are rigid in their thinking, they know the answers before the questions. Great thing about buy and hold, no commissions. Whether your retail or exchange member, future's contracts there are fees to be paid on each trade. Life is a gamble, crossing the street we are betting our lives that granny can see above steering wheel and not kill us.

This isn't right. I've seen you constantly ask Volpri, MB, Padu etc etc trading questions. Of all the Posters on here, you ask for help the most, other than "blow through Newbes".
