Why are the Forex markets so dead lately?

    I strongly suggest you take a look at the GATA findings about gold market manipulations and read about Reginald HOWE Lawsuit against Bank for International Settlements. Especially the ruling by Judge Lindsay.

    Then rethink your statement.

    In my opinion what we are seeing is a huge derivatives operation to lure the foreign capital to finance the budget.

    Asians are fully aware of that.

    Some points about this:

    The futures market are signalling that short rates will hit 3 per cent by the end of the year.

    Most economist think that the "neutral" rate of interest is now more than 3% (in nominal terms)

    Concernig forex manipulation, Mr. Profit knows of course who manipulates it and what's more important - how, that's why Mr. Profit is very successful forex trader as his nick, isn't he?

    Nobody mentioned FOREX manipulation.
    I never ment FOREX - I wrote USD manipulation.
