I don't disagree with what you have said above ^. But again, nothing you have said outlines a reasonable and sustainable plan to holdout from the vax long term. Nothing you have said or anyone really, counters the trend that the unvaxxed will have their freedoms and lifestyles stepped on. I am asking the question again, does anyone in the maybe or no vax camp have a reasonable and sustainable plan to avoid the vax right now without giving up pre corona freedoms? Because if no one can give such a said plan, then regardless of your and my aversion to the vax, we are all getting vaxxed in the long term unless you want to be a hermit living in the woods.
There are 20 Covid vaccines being used across this Planet. 12 in limited use in some countries while 8 in full use in other countries. In fact, some countries that are using Vaccine Passports for travel purposes do not recognize some of these vaccines as valid vaccination for whatever reason. My point, to just say vaccines, in general, is a growing common mistake considering those recommending vaccines or opposing vaccines are rarely specific about which vaccine they're talking about. This is important because some people are in fact allergic to some vaccines while not allergic to other types of vaccines. In fact, my personal Doctor used my medical history plus full blood chemistry work to determine which vaccines will cause me a severe adverse reaction and which vaccines will not. For example, my Doctor highly advised me not to take the AstraZeneca nor J&J vaccines. Further, he then recommended the Pfizer or Moderna...I did my own research and selected Moderna. I'm now fully vaccinated without any problems. Yet, I'm not going to waste my time & energy bashing all vaccines via generic statements just because my body has an issue with AstraZeneca and J&J vaccines. Those that choose to not be vaccinated...that's your right and I do not approve of the government overstepping and making vaccines mandatory exception is the military considering we signed up for shit like that and routinely are vaccinated upon deployment to other countries...often not really knowing what vaccine has been injected in our arm. Do not take vaccines blindly. Talk about it with your Doctor, get a complete physical and a full blood chemistry work, and then discuss the results again with your Doctor to determine if you're suitable for vaccination or not suitable. Here in North America...most of our Covid Hospitalizations, Covid ICU admissions and Covid Deaths are by those that are NOT VACCINATED. That in itself is a statistic that someone living in North America should not ignore especially if you're someone that has a pre-existing medical condition or underlying medical condition. The big problem...1/3 of our North American population do not know they have an existing underlying medical condition. wrbtrader
It's going to get to be really rough for anti-vaxxers soon in more ways then one and you can see them getting hysterical more and more on this site. I suspect some will get vaccinated on the sly but continue to post their nonsense regardless.
One ET member that's very vocal against vaccines has already admitted to me recently he's now fully vaccinated but only after his Covid infection...a Covid infection that resulted in his 10 year son becoming infected, then hospitalized and now is out of the hospital with lingering breathing problems. This Delta Variant is not something that people should be risking the health, welfare and safety of their friends or loved ones. If those they care about are NOT VACCINATED or can not be vaccinated...a Covid infection can possibly result in Hospitalization, ICU admission, or Death of those people that they care about. wrbtrader
The problem is when these unfortunate outcomes occur, you won't hear much about them on here but what you will hear is the band of idiots claiming this never happens. They won the Covid anti-lottery so far and dismiss any adverse outcomes as people who were predisposed or weak in some way. Poster "Jem" is the worst still talking about segregating the "low risk" from the "high risk" like that was ever a viable practical solution. The reference to "fear" that some of them post is rather ironic because it's clear the fear in play here is with them as they realize they can't control things at all. The denials may be the only way they can cope with a pandemic.
The pent up hysteria in recent weeks is how some of the Covid Deniers choose to deal with this reality. Which is not very well it seems.
Soon the 3 shot people will be telling the 2 shot people not to be indoors with them, they will claim that 2 shot people have weaker antibodies and may carry the virus
Well, what's "reasonable and sustainable" for these types is different than what is for most "reasonable" people. These are the kinds that say it's fine for kindergarteners to get shot up every once in a while to avoid sensible restrictions to fire arms after all. So reasonable for them may just be survival of the fittest, herd immunity through disease, and mooching medical resources on the tax payers' dime.
I read yesterday that there were going to be major protests of 3 hospitals here in Canada about Vaccine Passports even though the hospitals have nothing to do with Vaccine Passports. Apparently, it all was organized on Facebook and there have already been threats of violence against the hospital employees because the employees made a choice (not mandatory) to be vaccinated. RCMP has warned employees and the hospital to be prepared for the disruption of essential medical care to patients. What the Fuck ??? I guess protesting in front of Parliament or walking several miles down street popular with government buildings is no longer popular. wrbtrader
At the moment there is no sustainable long term vax program to hold out from. Vaccinating in the middle of a pandemic with a partially effective vaccine which does not wipe out the virus is a pandora's box. This is very dangerous ground... no expert can speak of long term. The long term variant production by the vaxed and sick is unquantifiable. Hence we have no idea if our boosters can stay ahead of it or worse. 2. Seriously if you don't see the potential problems... you are not thinking. I pray the downside is not realized. But, if a deadly variant comes around for middle aged or younger healthy people.. Why would we even expect they will create a booster in time? Why would you even suspect the old vaccines will work?
