Why are people so secretive here?

I don't insist that I am right in my reflection.
I know that if anybody knows something - this gets no longer profitable. But I know for sure another thing - knowing and following are two very different things. In my business many things are known but not followed and for that reason - still profitable for many years.

And at the end to believe that I - the small simple person can change the markets (with hundred of milling of fat participants, thousands of equities and many timeframes) is very very nonsense. Just look what is practiced by anybody and avoid this.

    Hi TradeZones,
    Thank you for the classification!
I'm very interested - who will classify yourself???

  4. This is very true and I agree 100%.

A friend of mine once told me: 'When you send that order in, all you know, all you are and all your experiences melt into this one click'

or in words of a German philosopher: recognition is bound to the conditions of the perceiver.
    Ergo: can never be copied!

  6. People here aren't necessarily secretive at all.

In fact, throughout the years, many traders have been very in how they trade, their thinking, their trading philosphy, setup(s) and even gone so far as to provide online sessions in their trading techniques.

As well as their approach to money management and how they position size their trades.

So you see, people aren't secretive, anyone who would think so simply hasn't done the work to involve themself in the information sources on the website or really even done their own homework to become a proficient trader.

... and for the people who choose to not be so forthcoming about how they trade, that's fine too.

I'm quite sure they put a lot of time and effort into their success, and it has cost them not a little in terms of capital, so of course they aren't going to just give it away ... only the naive or stupid would think otherwise.

And if anyone disagrees with me, feel free to relocate to a country that practices socialism, because you haven't a clue of how a capitalist society operates.

there is an old saying the the giver of a gift always gets more pleasure than the receiver.

the character of many ET posters is a turnoff..

    no pleasure. no gift.

  8. Hey you know, it's funny. I find the cluelessness on this website to be a turnoff too, where every johnny-come-lately and nOOb who just tuned-in to Mad Money wants to come on the website and beg people to give him their system so they can get rich (just hysterical). :p

I'm definitely not the one to spoon feed the clueless.

... and on a website that allows and encourages vendors who can't wait to skin people just like the OP, I find your post to be rediculous and not the least bit hypocritical.

But tell you what ... trading systems are like jobs, you only need one ... so why don't you send the OP a PM giving your full system strats, probs and money managment algos.

    OP - check your Inbox. :D :D :D

P.S. But hey, maybe you ARE from a communist country, Zdreg, or some other place where people want to believe that pollyanaish crap you just wrote ... in which case, I'll say it again.

    OP - check your Inbox. :D :D :D

I agree with you 100%! Also there are people in other professions who mastered something and are never willing to share this.
