I also thought IDEAL was slightly more expensive. I really hope IB gives an option to have the detailed break-down of unbundled commissions in its new statements to erase all these confusion. It should also help IB and decrease CSRs' involvement.
IB unbundled pricing is very confusing. You can't get the answer even if you ask them. Perhaps they are confused at their own pricing too.
