I am very grateful that so many of you have given excellent ideas.

I am trying them out but it seems that it is going to take time.

Let me answer some of your questions.

Both cards were bought from ebay as new about 4 years ago. One failed almost 5 months ago & second one now. They were continuously used at least 12 hours a day.

Everything is powered from one outlet using Belkin Brand spike strips with 8 outputs from each spike strip.

I tried a different outlet but that didn't help.

I do get real shock & not just the tingling. Screwdriver type of small tester shows light too. If I don't plug in data cables coming from monitors then I don't get shock from CPU chassis.

Entire setup is placed on a custom made steel frame. So no wires are touching carpet to pick up any static.

Today I am getting current at the tip of every data cables that comes from all 12 monitors. The power is on, on all 12 monitors. If I turn power off to all 12 monitors, then problem goes away.

Right now I am using one card to get by with.

  2. Replace all of your monitors with 4x, 65", 4k monitors and run from that one good card.

    Problem solved!

    EXCELLENT Idea Scat.

    One big problem though.

My FirePro 2460 has a Maximum Resolution of 1920x1200.

So those 65" Monitors will not fit 12 Charts of 1920x1200

Correct me if I am wrong please.

  4. ONE 65" probably won't, but 4 would!

I was just going for a laugh. I knew your 2460 wouldn't support 4k res. Besides, where would you put 4x 65"-ers?

That is what I was thinking too but you never know. Great idea might just start with a joke.

  7. Haven't tried it myself, but now that we have 4k resolution on TVs.... they might just make sense as monitors. I've looked at some very close up and the pixels are tiny... might be good for "normal viewing distance on a computer".

Three nvidia quads on ebay would be reasonable.
