Why are lefties surprised by all the revelations of lies and corruption from obama?

  1. Of course, the Fast and Furious scandal outranks the AP one too. A Border Patrol agent was killed because of the administration's fanatical obsession with gun confiscation. Then there was a still-running coverup. It's disappointing the republicans have not done more with this scandal, because it clearly went directly into the highest reaches of the administration.

Contrast that with the AP scandal, which clearly is going to be a two day story. A lot of chestpounding , then it's all over.

My responsible pro Constitution productive tax payer status? Why would I not relish that?

What!!!!?????? And you come here and argue politics nearly every day for at least the last two years?

You're fired. You don't deserve to discuss politics with those of us who take our voting rights seriously and as a right many people have died to preserve.

  4. Great hyperbole:)

The outcome in my state was never in doubt. If I lived in Ohio, OTOH.

Lawrence O Donnell did a great piece about this. I will see if I can find it.

    Welcome to the club.

But it does allow us to slam Rectum with impunity without having to answer to his ill conceived reply.

Rectum, have I told you how stupid you are today? :D

  6. You should, but you believe that only white males with land should vote. That invalidates the first line of the Preamble.

Either you believe that all men.....etc. Or you don't. Which is it?

I believe ANY legal citizen who owns land and or pays federal taxes should be able to vote in federal elections.

Those who own land and or pay state taxes could vote in state elections and so on.

  9. Holy shit..now it's all clear..I read your post and a light bulb went off... and now I know why NYC wants to let non citizens vote..

"Due to a recent change in the law, the Program will match each dollar a New York City resident gives up to $175 with six dollars in public funds, for a maximum of $1,050 in public funds per contributor."

    That's a lot of moolah.

  10. What about the housewife?

    What about the college student?

What about those who work hard every flippin day for near minimum wage? That would include all of my CNA's. They don't get to vote?

    What about disabled veterans?

What about the elderly? Do you have any idea how much long term care costs? If you are over 80 there is a great shot you are destitute, no matter what you did when you worked.

You are a pilot, you make good money. For your sake I hope you never get a serious illness. If you do, you might lose the right to pick your president, according to you.

    Thoughts?
