RCG, once again, is professor Hsu a Nazi? He echoes me pretty closely in his conclusions, so I'm curious if you will have the balls to be consistent.
A liberal yes, sanctimonious, well, since I don't mince my feelings, I doubt that fits the definition. Those who won't stand up for their true feelings, and who lie to themselves are the ones we should all be concerned with. Just my opinion.
And not much more than a hour ago you claimed to be a centrist. Hence the accusations of you being full of shit no doubt.
Sorry, but I think I stated clearly that I am a social liberal, no doubt. A fiscal conservative yes. And, I did say if that balances out to a centrist, in some shape or form, then go ahead and think that. I am not a social centrist, and am not a fiscal centrist. I am open to hearing discussions to all sides, not just the dogma of one side.
on this particular issue social liberal means siding with dogma instead of science. recall the two berkeley professors. Each issue of course demands it's own inspection, but I can't see how you can reconcile your two positions on this. Social liberals are for redistribution regardless of cost.
Not so much, in my university days, the term Dogma referred to more of the Religious viewpoints, not the more questioning liberal points of view. Science for evolution is obvious, but I am curious as to what type of dogma you think the liberal mind is subject to. As I said, I am open to civil discussions.
You use the term, dogma, in the exact same context as Mav. Yet you question his use of it. I think you are chasing your tail hoping others will follow.
