And by the way...Vanz, DallasCowboy and Van_der getting me all riled up before tomorrow's trading session? Mmmmm, that is fine. Fine fine fine. It is fine. Pizza fine. All you had better be eating pizza, haha!
Yeah famous one, slice is alright https://www.yelp.com/biz/lennys-pizza-brooklyn this is the house from my earlier post,i lived on same block https://www.flickr.com/photos/emilyrides/sets/72157624183266568/ Ray's pizza in NYC is not bad ,they do it well. Some of you who think there is good pizza in Europe,I agree with Overnight nothing compares to pizza from NYC.And this includes the places i tried in Italy, maybe there are some, but not in Rome.Which was kind of surprising, good as far as cheese and texture, but crust too slim. I couldn't eat pizza everyday,it becomes distasteful after a week or so.Meatballs parmesan on a hero little toast from an oven that would go longer. I used to go to the boardwalk for fresh clams, have a dozen of them with some tabasco sauce LOL You ever in Budapest, drop me a line i buy you a beer.
Sorry all about my pizza rant yesterday. I really just need a good slice man. It is starting to hurt, this lack of good pizza that I am experiencing. Is it affecting my trading? Hmm! Curious, captain.
When I used to live in Chicago Ridge I would head on over to Oak Lawn for a Phil's pizza. Just count me as a sausage and cheese kinda' guy. Phil's pizza is fantastic. http://philspizza.net/ Afterwards you must get on over to Rainbow Cone in Beverly, IL. Around 93rd and Western Ave. https://www.yelp.com/biz/original-rainbow-cone-chicago Pizza and Ice Cream. Only a commie wouldn't like that.
This weekend I happened to catch The Travel Channel's show, "Food Paradise"... Pizza edition. In the 1-hour episode, they have time to showcase 5 pizza places.... Beau Jo's was one of them. Hard to claim "best pizza in the country", but Beau Jo's is a legit contender. FWIW...
