  2. In case anybody in Chicago needs a personal injury lawyer, I was thrilled today that mine has just settled my car wreck case for $235,000. I had my nose smashed, elbow broken, and had to undergo plastic surgery all because some jackass felt compelled to make a left turn from the right lane...but still a $235K settlement took alot of skill on his part.

In case any ET members need a personal injury lawyer, PM me for his contact info.

BTW, I wouldn't go though all that pain for 50 times that amount of money...but once it's already happened, you might as well squeeze every penny out the idiot's insurance company.

  3. Other ET thread sucks, reviving this thread (saxon sucks at keeping a thread going).

    Best food:

Steak: Well... it's not a steak house but best cooked beef is Chicago Kalbi. No steak or any kind of restaurant can beat this Japanese style Korean barbeque spot. Beef = Chicago Kalbi.

    Burgers: Boston Blackies.

Italian Beef: Mr. Beef. But I usually get the steak sandwich.

Chinese: I seem to like the $1 Chinese Food in the Nordstrom Mall. I don't like the "real" Chinese food in Chicago these days.

Sushi: Things have changed since last year but I'd have to say Kaze Sushi up by Roscoe Village.

Restaurant Bar: Bijan. A really nice bar. Open late too. Another is Pepper Canister. Great food.

Bar: Hard Rock Hotel. Very nice bar. Also, Harry's Velvet room. Simple and just what a bar is all about.

    As of other places...

Cafe Iberico. - Tapas. Reasonably priced.

San Soo Gab San.. - Korean Barbeque. Open 24/7.

Mother Hubbard. - Sports Bar. Open till 4am. Good sloppy joes.

    Well... what's everyone's list now?

Cafe Babariba has more of a romantic ambiance and the food is equally good if not better.

  5. True. Babariba is a good date spot. Iberico has more of a family friendly atmosphere and lower prices.

    Another place:

    Barnelli's Pasta Bowl.
