  6. Totally true, the old stadium was myfavorite. family had season tickets since the early 70's. I loved the roar in that building, and have had so many good memories there that they cnnot be forgotton.

  8. Chicago Thread needs some love...

What's with Rush these days or the city...

It's getting warmer but it seems like there's not much energy...

Is the economy really hitting the city bad?

    Any opinions?

    Hey Chicago!

New to ET. Thought I might add to my hometown thread. Remote trading (swing futures) from South Shore and loving it. In walking distance of (3) beaches, (2) golf courses and Jackson harbor.

Working hard to get my "balance of winter/summer calcs" to work. Really got blown out this year :) .

The New Weber Grill has taken #1 for steaks on my list. Anyone else been there?

I love it in Chicago. Truly one of the greatest cities in the world!

On the economy, my wife sells real estate in the near north area and is doing good. Not as good as last year, but holding steady. Family and friends holding steady also. New college grad had tough time landing a job. Had to compromise.

Really think if the 2nd half of '03 doesn't show positive corporate earnings to back up the recent market gains - and unemployment rises, we could be in for very tough times here.

    Anyhow, Much Success to All,

  10. Hmm, ok. I think things are fairly good. Just returned to town earlier this week to find that I have a ton of work ahead. Both near and medium term. Not only are my local clients looking to upgrade their hardware a bit, they are all basically flush with cash. Caught up with most of my friends and associates and they are all getting increases their workloads too. I'll be having dinner at Weber Grill tonight. I really need a good steak. Now that the weather is improving, I love being home. :)
