Who would win in a fight, Trader or Investor?

  1. In terms of money earned(including bonuses), of course someone( at Goldman for example)would probably win bcuz of the sheer amount of money/buying power they have. But in terms of percentage return, I can bet 25k -50k of my personal money that I can beat any investor over 5 yr term. We can set it up the contract thru attys.

    Anybody game?

    P.S. crgarcia ......where are you?

  2. 98% of daytraders lose.
The other 2% is only barely breaking even.

I never heard (real stories) of a daytrader making a killing.

Investors may also profit in sideways markets (dividends, covered calls, etc.)

Investors WHO HEDGE, win hands down.

  3. GS are neither traders nor investors:

They are insider-traders, front-runners, and market manipulators.

  4. If you blowup daytrading (and it's likely you'll do), anyhow you'll have no money to pay me the bet.

    Quite a catch, isn't it?

  6. A trader because by their nature, investors are passive.
