Ashok Varadhan - Goldman (33yrs old) Paul Rotter - The Flipper Driss Ben-Brahim - Goldman Christian Siva-Jothy - Goldman Michael Nierenberg - Bear Angie Long - Chase (give this 30yr lady her props) Nicolas Dusart - BNP (guys a year younger than me!) While many of the individuals listed here certainly enjoyed significant levels of profitability, how many of them could actually teach? Richard Dennis certainly qualifies. For my money, choosing a mentor that both traded well and has shown an ability to pass on what he has learned makes better sense. As a result, I'd choose the man Warren Buffet chose as a mentor - Benjamin Graham. - Spydertrader

Wow I wouldn't want to be this guy for all the gold in china... I admire the trading skills but man what a lousy way to live! The one thing that ET traders should take from this article is the actual returns that are realistic over a 15 year career. Get your head out of the clouds traders 50% a year is GOLD and to all you prop shop 1000% in a lucky year guys wake up, you wont last.
I believe he started with $20M which were personal trading profits from Gruntal. Now he's estimated at $3B with no blow ups. So basically he's been hitting .400 his whole trading career.
I like how he uses the strategy of squeezing the shorts out of a position and also how he hits the market makers all at once and cleans out the inventory and makes them go back to the open markets......how is none of this a crime it seems that he is manipulating the market especially if he hits the market makers then dumps when they go to buy. bait and switch no?
