    Been there, done that.

    I would have to agree that STEVIE COHEN is the greatest trader over the past 15 years . . .
    He would be one helluva mentor.

    Niederfoffer, i read his book, then threw it in garbage can.

    Then i read where he blew up, case closed...:D

    Was John meirweather the "Big Swinging Dick" in liar's poker.

    Yes, ltcm blew up but John is indeed a big..........

Victor's a cool guy & all that, but while I think he gets the award for most resilient, I would rather have someone like Ed Sekoyta or PTJ mentor me since I think I would learn the most about succeeding from them. Victor can teach anyone a lot about stick-to-it-ness and never say die, but I'd rather not be in that position to begin with. Whether you have that quality is an internal issue, and I don't think it can be taught.

    But having known him very peripherally, I do think he is a person to be admired. Just not to be followed.
