  1. Some interesting political quotes:

Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich by promising to protect each from the other. -- Oscar Ameringer

What you say doesn't matter; it's what your opponents can claim you say which counts. -- Simon Hoggart

Persuasion is a two-edged sword -- reason and emotion. Plunge it deep. -- Professor Lewis Sarett, Sr.

I've voted Libertarian in every election since 1980. (For local offices where there is no Libertarian candidate running, I always vote for whoever is not endorsed by the Right to Life party.)

I'm going to have to break ranks this year and vote for a Democrat for President, for what should be obvious reasons. I wish Jed Bartlett was the candidate, but apparently he's not going to win the nomination.

In the real world there is rarely an ideal candidate. I contributed money to the Dean campaign (there was a Libertarians for Dean group, so I guess I wasn't alone), but alas...

Here's a thought for all the Libertarians: Who Would Rand Vote For?

  9. Funny you should ask..... Rand was actually against
libertarians...but I think it was mostly a misunderstanding.

Not sure who Rand would vote for, she would probably bitch
that all the candidates SUCK :D
