You can read can't you? January 9th we had that chat. Now, money is money just there are trades even stupid people take, especially stupid people very often. No brain required, just follow the crowd, dog catches the car. You should feel thanks for putting a little fire in your belly. Well done Butkus, well done. (Butkus was the name of Rocky Balboa's dog)
1. To the morons like gwBe-lying and the lefties who give him likes.... who told me it was impossible to protect the high risk more. Think about a simple thing like telling them that many of them are getting exposed in the home and that they need to protect themselves from family members. Think about how many lives would have been saved. Even... for those of you who believe masks protect people or those who believe they are mostly symbolic... think about how simple the idea would have been to tell the high risk they should wear their mask around family members. That would have been a very simple message and it may have saved thousands of lives. I believe the ER doc was not being political at all.. she just hated seeing all the high risk people getting destroyed by Covid and it hurt her to see it so she was like... we should tell them to wear masks around family members (because that is who is frequently infecting them.) All you all had to do was think, instead of your knee jerk reaction to being anti any one who criticizes left policy. Only leftist morons believe we could not have protected the high risk better.
Once again you fail to realize that non-N95 masks only serve to stop you from infecting others -- they do little to stop you from getting infected. Asking the high risk only to wear a mask around family members while the other family members do not wear a mask (and continue their non-socially distanced lifestyle) is just idiotic. Stop pushing debunked bullshiat that causes the spread of the infection that is killing thousands of people every day.
Bugenhagen is such a losing moron... he just does not give a shit about the the high school kids who have been shutdown from living their high school years. By the way bugenmoron my son is in Texas now and is loving life. But.. I do want you to know this about kids. I just brought my daughter back from a soccer tournament on Saturday. The kids were allowed to socialize in that state and the kids hung out together between games. She thanked me for driving here there and she said Saturday was the best day of her life. She was just so happy to be with other girls...having fun. So for those of you so dense, so fearful, so hardhearted that you don't understand what you policies are doing to kids...even the kids who do adjust... you are just leftist morons. So selfish its off the charts.
you fucking liar. I was the one... who harped on those studies and started those threads saying masks dont protect. You know like the study from denmark with the 3000 person control group... which showed the mask wear group got covid at the same rate as the non mask wearing group... you were the science denier on those threads until you realized you could not win... then you went back to your... well masks stop the spreader... shtick. By the way... that is why is I wrote... symbolic... you idiot. Its not the idea that masks protect.... its that the high risk need to understand that are getting infected by family members and need to do more to protect themselves.
You have simply posted "studies" created and pushed by COVID deniers -- nearly all were debunked as complete nonsense when proper studies were performed. Why don't you go back review your "Great Barrington Declaration" and how every policy the deniers pushed in the declaration has been determined to be the worse possible public health policy in a pandemic. Bottom Line: MASKS WORK, WEAR THEM - EVERYONE. FOLLOW PROPER PUBLIC HEALTH POLICIES TO ADDRESS A PANDEMIC.
CDC study: Mask mandates reduce COVID-19 hospitalizations https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/537545-cdc-mask-mandates-reduce-covid-19-hospitalizations States and counties that implemented mask mandates saw a substantial decline in the number of people admitted to the hospital to treat COVID-19 symptoms in the weeks after the mandates took effect, according to a new study published Friday. The study, published in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, found hospitalization growth rates begin to drop slightly in the first three weeks after implementation. More than three weeks after a mask mandate took effect, hospitalization rates declined by almost 5 percent. The study “demonstrates that statewide mask mandates were associated with a reduction in Covid-19-associated hospitalization growth rates,” the researchers wrote. The study monitored hospitalization rates in 10 states — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Ohio and Oregon — that implemented mask mandates between mid-April and mid-July. Thirty-one states and the District of Columbia have implemented mask mandates. Hospitalization rates dropped most significantly among those between the ages of 18 and 64. Hospitalization rates declined the least among those over 65, who are most susceptible to the worst outcomes of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Drops in hospitalization rates are likely an indicator of fewer infections in the population as a whole. Only a small percentage of coronavirus infections lead to symptoms severe enough to require hospitalization. “At the individual level, the prevention benefit of using a mask increases as more persons use masks consistently and correctly,” the study says. The CDC researchers speculated that the decline may have been lowest among older people in part because those over the age of 65 are the most likely to have been wearing masks already, so a mandate would have had the least impact on them. Studies conducted as early as May — before many states implemented mask mandates — found about 70 percent of those over the age of 65 were already using face coverings, compared to fewer than half of those under the age of 25. A separate report published Friday showed the number of young people using face masks has increased dramatically. The report found that more than 90 percent of people at six universities across the country, observed between September and November, were wearing face masks correctly.
Also, he ignored and openly stated he doesn't read when info I've posted that "face mask wearing in combo with social distancing / washing hands" do in fact work but provides better protection instead of doing just one of the three. On top of that...he started using profanity when I copy/pasted an article that supported face mask wear. Inexcusable behavior...had to put the idiot on ignore. wrbtrader
My gosh are you a two faced idiot talking out the side of your mouth... You constantly attempt to rewrite my positions so that the size of your assholeness is not not apparent to new readers. I am very strong believer in social distancing. I have stated that a dozen times. Most of this spread (if not all comes from droplets) Droplets fall to the ground given a few feet of distance. Distancing is massively important... You fucking asshole - cease mis-representing my arguments. You are such a lying moron... you have taken the position that it is impossible to protect the high risk any better. Its my position that any thinking compassionate person would see the stats... and state we must protect the high risk better. Beginning with explaining to the high risk that statistically speaking (and especially- if they are in a multi generation home where a great deal of spread and death is happening) there is a high risk they can be infected by a younger family member... so they must protect themselves. Any asshole that argues with that basic humanitarian statement (based on facts we see in the data) is as big a fucking asshole about this subject as you are.
