I remember in the summer '92 when the only gig Bill Clinton could get was on MTV. Then look what happened a few months later. Voters are fickle.

  2. Today, Tea Party favorite Michelle Bachmann, formally declared her candidacy for president of the United States in Waterloo, Iowa, where she was born and grew up as a child before moving to Minnesota.

    In declaring she said:
"Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too" ..

The John Wayne from Waterloo is serial killer, clown costume wearing John Wayne Gacy. Movie icon John Wayne is from Winterset.

    OOOPPPPSSSS.

Drinking Game: If you are on her campaign staff, go quickly to the nearest bar and do not leave until you see little green men on the ceiling.

Democrats, keep dreaming about her winning the GOP candidacy.

Fail!! Will people actually vote for somebody who doesn't fact-check? We'll see. There are plenty of dumb folks out there with the constitutional "right" to vote.

She's not going to get the nomination so why are you wasting your time on her?

  9. Latest polls for Iowa show her tied with Mittens.

She has a good IMO chance of getting the nomination. She is loved by the Tea Party and so far this is shaping up as an ideological race rather than one to pick the person with the best chance of beating Obama. This favors her over Mitt who pretty much has taken multiple positions on many issues plus he has Romneycare that is much like Obamacare hanging over his head like the Sword of Damacles.

IMO, the race is between Mitt, Bachmann and TPaw with the others being niche candidates.

The FEC money reports come out soon and they will tell us a lot about who are the viable candidates.

    We'll see; enjoy the ride.

And you know who won Iowa in 2008? Huckabee! Didn't turn out so well for him. Iowa is not a good barometer for winning the nomination. Usually New Hampshire is the best read and she is polling in single digits there.
