Originally I was self taught on equities. I and a whole lot of others made a good payday off the idiot festival otherwise known as the tech craze days. I kept buying and selling the same few stocks and some earnings option plays until it all blewup. I then switched to futures and had a learning curve. Pissed away some profits on those systems that were curve fit crap. I happened on a name that in the past has led to some on ET blowing a gasket that the guy was just another conman, snakeoil salesman, but he helped me so I would call him a mentor when it comes to the futures side of trading. For whatever reason he helped get me into discipline mode in my index trading. That name is Barry Lutz of Tactrade. Don't know what happened to him and I'm not even sure how long it has been since I was in his chatroom, but probably 15 years or more. So there is a name for you.
