I hold anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks. I much prefer a few minutes, but the market doesn't always cooperate that well. As long as I am within my parameters, I keep holding.

I hold from a few minutes to three or four days max. All my trades start out with swing potential, but I manage it from there, and most become daytrades.

    Mostly minutes.

I've found that I was holding my losers longer than my winners --not a good sign! I think that was indicative of 'hope' based trading. I've been concentrating on that and have improved my trading significantly since then.

Also, I believe that the best trades are profitable the quickest -- usually immediately for the good ones.

If it struggles from the get go, it's usually better to cut it of right away.
