Is there a market in plugins to trading systems? I see that Metastock has a plugin system and some products for sale. I'm a software developer thinking about writing code to implement quant strategies, volatility modeling and arbitrage, statistical arbitrage, things like that. Anyone interested in something like that? Any suggestions or ideas welcome, I'm not a trader so I'm clueless about the trading side.
