Just curious.......assuming you are in the USA, do you stay up most of the night and sleep in the daytime...or do you put in some stops and go to sleep. I am retired, and like the night trading also.....but can't get a schedule worked out. Stosh

  2. sorry for the noob comments, but I'm assuming rth is regular trading hours?

Also, software may become a concern due to the slow pace of the movements...does anyone recommend I use something like button trader or is it just as easy to set up a trailing stop?

Night trading is appealing to me:p

Can somebody please give opening and closing of asian markets in US time zone.

  4. Here's some links to help you do your homework. :) Trade volume will tell you when each group starts trading and calls it quits for the day. What has made you interested in nights v.s. days?

Just depends on the price action. I am a night owl. Action heats up around 3 am est when europe opens. I enter trades when my signals are generated, once in the trade, the stop is automatically set. If in a trade, I will sometimes nap. I often turn my speakers on max and when strategy runner hits a limit or stop the voice wakes me up. Othertimes I stay up all night trading and sleep during the afternoons. My favorite trades are when you enter, scale out for some profit and move the stop to breakeven and wake up to find it has went huge in your favor or even hit you limit to exit while snoozing.

  7. Whatever the general opinion of night traders, they sure have a lot of influence, especially coming into Monday.. Plus they gobble up a lot of points in a much less manic way than the regular session...
