If he charges it would be worthwhile for him, plus add a great credibility boost to ET ps the posers will object to the idea A turning point in forum evolution
Not sure how they verify that for "non automated" broker. Like from the looks of it, users can import files, which I think can be faked. I know for journalytix you actually have to provide live login details to connect your data to the journal. Which would scare people, including myself due to privacy issues. I know cause I used it before realizing it's not safe lol. Now I use Metatrader5. and it's probably the best for this since it has separate investor login credentials (read only). Forexfactory use this method in their "trade explorer" feature. THey used to have member badges that have that set up to their FF account. I honestly don't think this idea will take off here though. ET is very broad from markets that we discuss, unlike FF which is only forex for the most part so it was easier to implement.
HUGE benefit bc he can show proof his forum has REAL traders. only bullshitters would protest #truth only posers who whine and criticize but dont even fkg trade would protest #trolltruth this will be an EFFECTIVE acid test to separate who's REAL vs whos FollOfShit the bullshitter trollboys willcomplain vigorously. us REAL traders will welcome the upcomng, i hope, Verified Real Trader icon (like instagram, amazon verified purchaser, etc all have) https://icons8.com/icons/set/verified https://www.google.com/search?q=ver...i450l8.95741226j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
I've thought about that, and thought that could be an angle he could use to bring in more users, and advertisers. But then it de-evolves into the validity of the check marks, which is what Twitter is now going through. Paying for verification, but how vetted are the verifications? Seems a whole ball of wax that would be unwieldy. Would the advertisers get more clicks on this site if there was some sort of "real-trader status" in user profiles? What does the cost-benefit analysis say? I am sure Baron will go through that, and give an answer on that if he tackles this idea.
good points; since EVERY major social media site does this, Amazon, twtr, instagram, dating sites etc there's certainly value in it. https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbes...get-verified-on-social-media/?sh=1542c78d4553 https://www.entrepreneur.com/scienc...uld-have-that-verifying-blue-checkmark/371742 https://bigthink.com/partnerships/get-verified-on-social-media/
Wrong. There are real traders there are fake traders and there are traders who don't want to publish as they don't see any advantage for them. Many of the best traders in the world never posted any trades. So they are fake? For what reason would or should they post personal information about their trading? To attract criminals?
