by a lot. impressive i'd recommend Baron charge ($30-$50 one-time fee) and make the person do a live 1:1 zoom/screenshare as they login to their account so Baron can verify they're real. sadly a tiny number of people here would qualify, most aren't real traders imho
I would go through the machinations of it, and a keen eye can tell if it is fake or not. For example, I see Ken's 1099-B there, and the numbers are not faked. (The only complaint people have ongoing about his statements is the notional value bit. But that's a different bit about PnL.) For example, Dest, YOU saw Vince's trading screen was a sim account, because you know his platform. Likewise, other people will be able to call out other statements/screenshots because they will also know the format of said screen if they use same platform.
I am not trying to derail the thread, but obv this loserrrr did that with this sim-shit, which is a cancer on trading forums as he posted this as real and on multiple threads. If @vincentnyc comes back he'll offer the excuse that he was joking. I'm out.
dest did a brilliant confirmation thing years ago re angled photograph of trade confirmation so light's on screen, at angle, so couldnt be photoshopped,., captured within a few minutes/timestamped. most intelligent thing ive seen in my life, to confirm authenticity. it takes alot to impress me; kudos
Did someone say we have to Zoom call Baron with our Trading accounts? That's a lot Zoom calls for Baron. Someone do it naked.
@Baron can just select an "ET preferred" live journal service like journlytix, tradervue, etc. that has social sharing capabilities. Ex: https://www.tradervue.com/help/brokers https://www.tradervue.com/site/sharing-trades/ He can then create custom badges for forum members that has verified account linked to the journal. Even work out a deal with them to provide ET member discount for the journal subscription. He can even make a special topic forum only for members (no one can post without badge) This way he doesn't have to waste time reviewing statements, spend money creating ET's trading analytics.
