Just a brief update. My previous trade was long from 4077. That trade was stopped out at 4053 and, as a result, I flipped from long to short. This trade will close at either 3966 (PT) or 4065 (SL).

  4. Why not breakeven that entry if you're still inclined to hold short? Tomorrow is FOMC minutes and they'll either help you or stop you out.

Since you like charts, I'll share one. To me, it seems like we're coming into support and a round number here. There could of course be more juice left, but I would be cautious as a short here.

I thought you don't do TRENDLINES!!! :sneaky:

Anyway, I'm not transferring anything from my day trading to swing trading. This will be a new paradigm shift! Grrrr!

  8. Follow the crumbs…schizo was getting chopped to pieces flipping in and out…(albeit from my observation the real damage was during extreme low liquidity eth algo churns)…he had the main direction correct from the early jan lows, but that’s essentially why chopping up on the way higher changes people into the desire to swing…

  9. The mindset…it’s a very difficult transition with outrights to sit tight on winners and also sit tight as your positions run against you (without tagging the stop loss)…toss in the tendency for index futures to go thru extended chop and slop periods and it can become mentally exhausting

Personally, I’ve gone between outrights and options spreads over the years (flies/verts, etc) to try to mitigate the problems inherent with a scalper mindset trying to “swing” or position trade

So I got chewed up flipping ETH? That's why I switched to swing trading? LOL
I find your assertion pretty funny, but I'll let it go at that.
