maybe some of you guys are not as well read or live very far from the city....spitzer is a heir to substantial family funds. see the link and note one estimate of his family wealth in the article. he did imo misuse his power and probably felt he was above the law. what started this whole thing was spitzer's bank alerting authorities to the money transfers.
