Its not hard to credit that the combined governments of the world get things wrong, so things half-arsed and too slow. What's a little harder to credit is that if you're right and they are so wrong that its obvious they are very very wrong, how come not a single one of them reverses course and adopts your policies? My usual rule is that if a room is filled with 100 qualified experts and 100 amateurs, I will listen only to the experts. And if more than half of the experts say this is the way to go, I will take their word and that's the way I'm going.
Wrong, Norway wished it would of went Sweden and did switch, so 1 has but only 1, why indeed, I think the charts prove Shielding works and Lockdowns plainly don't. But your not listening to experts, your listening to government stooges that are being paid to follow the narrative, the experts the real 1's are going crazy trying to fight there side and being told to shut up. Look around on Twitter Karol Sikora is good, doing T-Cel research and loads of others. Does the 43,000 Doctors ( might be 6,000 and 37K normals ) not mean anything to you, Barrington thingy. There all screaming my way above and being labelled conspiracy nuts, but Sweden is better in every way, less deaths, less job losses, less extra deaths, less mental issues, less expense and not bullshit and less damage to childrens education. Only reason for not flipping is, they want to do as much damage as possible, lose as many jobs as possible and screw us all over and force a vaccine with unkown consequences at this time. Your too PC to ever get this I guess, PC is the new brain washing it's replaced religion to control the masses, hard to undo that social programming.
Well, Madrid after a very strict and damaging 1st lockdown last Spring, was hit first in Europe by the second wave, with case numbers making international headlines, and the city didn t revert to lockdown ( everything has been open except for the last few weeks from midnight to 6am, and there are a bunch of regulations controling affluence which are more or less followed, people of certain neighbourhoods, were not supposed to leave those except for a whole bunch of reasons while everything stayed open within those districts, and this last part has seen 0 enforcement) And yet numbers soon went down sharply, hospitals haven t been close to saturation, and at last check over 50% of people in Madrid care homes had covid antibodies- many died last Spring though, with the help not only of covid but also of criminal policies for care home patients it now appears. Bemusing so many places in Europe are reverting to strict lockdowns. I'm absolutely disgusted at the message sent day in day out to kids btw, was always suspicious of the principles schools taughts but this year they are making a lot of efforts to turn kids into cowardly and unhealthy retards.
Too screw us all over and annoy us enough that people will willingly take a barely tested vaccine. 12pm to 6am lol middle of the night, everything is shut in the UK so that would have exactly zero effect on anything LOL I could live with that Spain said it'll have heard by the Summer earlier on today I think. Germany just went strict lockdown, last lockdown here was literally just a shop and pub closure, so obvious to put all the xmas sales over to Amazon it's unreal. Returning covid patients to Care homes to spread to others, but all the bleeding heart we have to save old people didn't seem to care, I guess that's a lie and it's all about them not dying, but you can't say that.
Spain might be hoping for herd immunity by summer with the help of the vaccine, but surveys show lots if spaniards don't want it ( would need to double check , might be a bit over 50% who don't want it). But the latest round of a national study just came out and it shows only 10% of the population has covid antibodies this number is expected to be significantly higher in Madrid. It seems they didn t accept care home patients in hospitals for a while during the 1st wave, even non covid patients, some sad stories around and a bunch of criminal cases started, although several have been rejected by courts I think ( i don t follow closely that part)
Bad news in Madrid btw is while case numbers have dropped, the provincial government has lowered the treshhold to confine neighbourhoods, so we don t know what might happen with only a mild rebound. Good news is, again, those neighbourhood perimetral lockdowns have seen no enforcement, and even going to the gym is now an acceptable reason to leave the neighbourhood ( gyms had been handing out waivers for weeks, and government last week said they were ok). I live in one of the last 2 districts locked in Madrid, but it s business as usual here, at least New Normal usual.
Antibody tests don't work sadly they've been using the low numbee to justify this BS, need the T-cell test aswell, not everyone creates antibodies.
Gyms staying open here aswell other than full lockdowns thankfully bugger all else to do 3 months till shielders wave is over, they've already started 3rd wave fears, super shielders? Super snowflakes, there is nobody left for 3rd wave, time vaccine is out enough it'll be over. Sit back and wait and see what issues that causes in a few years, huge deaths expected, making covid look like even less than the nothing it is. Rough decade ahead, loads of wars brewing to!
It's good gyms still open in the UK, I m following a gym in Ireland and it s been tough for them there, open on and off. They had a pro mma event a couple of weeks back and it was cancelled last minute, after the fighters had already travelled and weighed in ! Total disrespect for the fighters, they've been screwed royally in Spain as well, no help package for them and not allowed to work. Here in " confined" areas, everything is open, gyms, cines, bars etc... just need a good reason to enter or exit the area, number of case threshhold to be confined has been lowered without good sanitary reason, but again it has been more window dressing so far, as no enforcement happened. Some people follow it anyway, as it's a rule. Anyway cases dropped substantially without the more restrictive rules applied in many parts in Europe, and earlier in Madrid as well. Quite a poor sight much of the world has become, hope the kids toughen up when they grow up, coz society is trying to turn them into fearful pets, a condition embraced by many parents.
I highly doubt the covid19 vaccines would have been released if not safe for the general population. These vaccines are not just "shots in the dark" if you'll pardon the expression. The medical/pharmaceutical world has been working on coronavirus vaccines since at least the time of the Sars and Mers epidemics. Covid19 is simply just another new strain of a well understood viral species. In addition, covid19 was seen as such a significant new disease that the world's resources went immediately into overdrive to find a vaccine asap. This is a uniquely large and coordinated effort with too much oversight and and too many competing vaccine designs for some firm to produce "snake oil" in a hypo and send it out to the market to make a quick buck. However, I would die in a ditch before accepting a Russian vaccine but that's more to do with distrust of the Russian government than the development of vaccines in general. Vaccines normally take years to get regulatory approval for general use but that's because of the constraints in medical trials on humans. A vaccine like this can only be trialled in an ongoing outbreak - pointless testing a malaria vaccine in the Arctic. Also there is always a difficulty in getting sufficient vaccine recipients and control subjects who don't get the vaccine. The response to covid19 has been to bring hundreds of thousands of subjects in contact with the trials, accelerating the entire testing process and strengthening its integrity. Vaccines aren't unique in the sense that they are just another "medicine". Objections to the integrity of development of this vaccine must therefore lead to rejection of other western pharma therapies whose development processes are actually less well known. That just seems unsupportable. As I said above, on a specialist subject I listen to the specialists: when the majority of specialists say penicillin will help me, I take it.
