Statistically (info posted in another thread)...the threat of Variants of Concern are listed from high to low below: Not vaccinated, immunocompromised and using antiviral drugs Not vaccinated and immunocompromised Not vaccinated but healthy Vaccinated and immunocompromised Vaccinated but healthy Viruses always mutate but they prefer a host that's not vaccinated but it's much more difficult to birth a Variant of Concern in someone that's vaccinated and healthy. Don't misunderstand, I didn't say it's not possible...I'm saying it's not likely. So far in this Covid Pandemic, every one of the Variants of Concern were not birth from a fully vaccinated person. Plus, they were birth in a population at a time of low vaccination and higher use of antiviral drugs. My concern for the United States and Canada (North America) is that we'll soon birth a Variant of Concern because the southern states are now using more antiviral therapeutic treatments of Covid sick individuals whom have weaken T cells and weaken B cells...viruses loves this scenario to mutate. Correct, all a virus needs is a host but they prefer a certain type of host in comparison to others. A single person infected with Covid can produce several mutations. Viruses are smart and able to adapt when challenged.
