Baron, over 90% of travel to Florida in 2021 is domestic. There is no UK tourists in Florida. https://www.cntraveller.com/article/can-i-travel-to-the-usa
1 hour to get to the Theme park, 30mins to get to a ride, 3hours in a cue, 2mins on the ride, maybe a 2nd ride if your lucky, 1hr 30mins to get back to car and that's cost you $400, $100 per minute on the ride, nice!! Sun Burn and always maxed out, nice!!
Tourism is a choice. As is suppressing medical data and pretending Covid is harmless to anyone "healthy" under age 80. And yet here we are. I really don't care at this point how many adults you kill down there with this shit ( it's a choice made by your communities ), but it's time to get real. The death counts and hospitalizations are not ok numbers, and now it's even affecting the kids. And has has been the case for numerous crisis in the US the last 20 years, it's always leave us alone we got this then we need help look at all our suffering people.
I wonder what a non vaxxer would say if one of his children would need urgent surgery to survive. Especially if the answer from the hospital would be: sorry we cannot help you as all available places are taken by non vaxxers that got sick. Your child will have to die, nothing we can do. I think if it would happen with my child, I might think about killing the non vaxxer who took my child's place. Decisions from non vaxxers have not only an impact on themselves, but also on other innocent people. These hospitalized non vaxxers basically decide over life and death of other people if they take all places in hospitals. Non vaxxers should be kicked out of the hospitals if there are other people who need that place for medical treatment.
Wow. You must really like horror movies because your ability to dream up nightmare scenarios in your head and then believe them to be true is exceptional. And then to take that scenario you dreamed up and then let that be the lens that you view others through is um... interesting.
In my country there was a meeting last year already with a lot of doctors to speak about the deontological question: which patient to choose if we have not enough place (or rather not enough equipment)? That's reality. Maybe not yet close to you, but it can still come. They had, last years already, to choose a few times. Big trucks with freezers to pile up death bodies was till 2 years ago never seen too. But in New York there were plenty last year. PS: I worked 15 years in hospitals and know a lot of things that you probably never heard about. https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/h...s/news-story/4bdeae74e8467c12be11f64b0d7a26ea
Everybody has tough decisions to make when it comes to unforeseen events. Whether it's a hospital, a grocery store, a pharmacy, a household, or whatever. The point is that you can't fabricate some crazy story in your mind about murdering a non-vaxxed patient in the event your kid couldn't get treatment because it's all just a bunch of horror fantasy that you've conjured up in your head that you're now projecting into the future and then forming a belief system around it. You've literally worked yourself up into a rage about a medical treatment scenario that has zero chance of ever happening in your own life.
Lol - right? And these power vaxxers call non vaxxers crazy conspiracy nutjobs. Both sides are just as bad. That's easy to see reading back to the start of this thread.
That is a big part of the issue, loons on both sides that outright lie, or simply rely on other loons for their information instead of putting in the time to understand for themselves. I use the quacks on both sides of this and a lot of other issues to teach the kids the concept of learning both sides of an issue and doing your own research to get a grasp on topics. All this arguing brings me back to one of favorite books from a college stats course, "How To Lie With Statistics". The Prof went way more in depth on the topic than the book which was even more fun.
