My neighbor was completely into the one side saying Covid was just the flu, and all the precautions were b.s. perpetuated by a group with an agenda to control the country. I love my neighbor and politically we are usually on the same page, but he went full nutso, like so many. That was until he and his girlfriend both got Covid, and yes they tested positive, but I suppose for those that don't believe it exists, it was a fake test. He's a bit of a tough guy and an scuba instructor who travels the world diving. He held off going into the hospital even though he was having serious breathing issues, to the point of getting that blue look, according to his girlfriend. He didn't want to end up in isolation, so stayed out of the hospital. He was wiped out for a month before he got a start of some relief. They are both having longer term issues with memory and breathing, but are slowly feeling like they are getting back to normal. Here's the catch, his girlfriend who also had it has asthma, but wasn't completely floored by it like him. She was able to take care of him while he recovered. He doesn't feel like he can get back in the water yet, but feels like he will sooner than later. He was a huge anti vaxxer, but now they both have gone in and taken the shots they were that scared by the experience. I got the shots, but I will openly admit that I am part of the experimental group testing the shots. They in no way fully tested the shots before releasing them. I had definite reactions to the shot that are for the most part resolved by making some changes that are not in anyway life altering, just annoying.

I remember that loonie asswipe from the HIV days in which he initially stated it was not real and then months later changed his toon to then say...only gays can get HIV. Yet, when HIV showed up in the blood supply of hospitals...he stated it was intentionally put in the blood supply to kill people because of some conspiracy. These misinformation / disinformation crazies are everywhere including the idiots that pass along their bullshit as if it's credible information. At this point, I'm starting to believe that Covid has caused neurological (brain) problems for these people. There was so much misinformation from that idiot and others like him...even people infected / dying from HIV was still thinking it was a hoax and that they had some other illness...some died without ever getting medical care. Worst, they continue infecting others or donating blood because they were brainwashed into thinking HIV was a hoax. That's the insidious power of misinformation / disinformation. With that said, I am not a fan of government / employers forcing people to get get vaccinated and wear face masks. It should be an option in which people choose one or both unless they have a medical condition in which they can not be vaccinated...the latter then implies they only wear face masks when at work. Yet, I do understand that the Covidiots have pushed governments / employers to do this because it was all avoidable but the Covidiots, especially the ones posting misinformation / disinformation that resulted in them fucking it up for everyone.
