Who plans to get the covid 19 VACCINE when it comes out

  1. LOL @ BS

You're clueless trying to sound smart

Stop calling it a "vaccine" & legitimizing it.
    It's gaslighting.
It's not a proper vaccine per scientific definition

Vaccines actually are a legally defined term under public health law; they are a legally defined term under CDC and FDA standards. And the vaccine specifically has to stimulate both the immunity within the person receiving it and it also has to disrupt transmission.

Researchers have NEVER successfully directly isolated the COVID19 virus (despite claims they have...via some convoluted method)

If they HAVE successfully isolated COVID19...they would have used the actual (weakened) COVID19 virus in the 'vaccine'. Doh!

There's no reason they all use some "synthetic" genetically engineered virus or even one from another family (ie not coronavirus which is a family of which COVID19 is one) if they indeed have directly isolated the actual COVID19 virus.
    Doh!

So how the fk will they (any of the Pharma cos) produce or claim a proper vaccine for COVID19?!
You need a 'weakened version of the actual virus in order to produce a proper vaccine
(like Polio vaccine which everything cites)

    Here's your Jannsen BS:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    https://www.ema.europa.eu/en/medicines/human/EPAR/covid-19-vaccine-janssen

COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen does not contain SARS-CoV-2 itself

COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen is made up of another virus (of the adenovirus family) that has been modified to contain the gene for making a protein found on SARS-CoV-2.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

IOW it's not a proper vaccine (containing 'weakened' form of the actual virus itself)
They had to use a virus from a different family (ie not coronavirus). LOL
    It's a pseudo-"vaccine"

    LOL

    PS
Just wait 6-12 mth in future when those middle-aged/old fucks taking the 'vaccine' meet the real test (eg coronavirus) head-on - see how their immune system reacts to it - before claiming a victory lap of "no side effects" after only a few days

  2. Somebody has really hurt feelings over the vaccine I guess..

SHow me on the doll where the vaccine hurt you..

It is just like the FLU shot, it helps you to not get really sick from COVID, it reduces the magnitude of COVID if you get it, if cna help your immune system fight it off. People with the FLU shot can still get it but they results are way better.

So it is stupid to say that just because you still have to wear a mask there is no reason to get it. When you get the shot, you are not absolved from still practicing good CDC guidelines. But for 90-95% of the population, it makes COVID a non-issue if you get and can end it before you spread it further.

    Excuse me...

The vaccine is effective in preventing the person receiving the vaccine from CONTRACTING the virus. It has zero effectiveness in preventing the person from being exposed to the virus somewhere and subsequently SPREADING the virus.

  4. I meant by still following CDC guidelines... eventually the spread cna be slowed tremendously and those who do get it, if vaccinated, are at significantly reduced risks. Then it can truly become more like the FLU in several ways.

I got the Pfizer shot 6 hours ago and so far nothing to report. Very little soreness, but I have been moving my arm a lot, as advised.

Oh I forgot to mention, my 5G is never less than 3 bars now.

If you guys have a choice, choose Pfizer. Best efficiency even against the newer strains and less side effects. Plenty of people complaining (including my friends) about J&J and Moderna, they are getting chills, fever, head aches. The older you are, the less likely you get those, but if you are young, just take Pfizer.

Had the first shot of Moderna vaccine today. So far no reaction, but I will post if anything comes up, or after the 2nd shot in a month.

  10. Everyone should be vaccinated, but maybe J&J is not the first choice:

NJ man hospitalized with COVID-19 and placed on ventilator despite J&J vaccine

    https://nypost.com/2021/04/16/nj-man-hospitalized-after-jj-covid-19-vaccine-on-ventilator/

The New Jersey man who was hospitalized with COVID-19 after getting the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was placed on a ventilator Friday as his condition worsened, his daughter told The Post.

Francisco Cosme, 52— who fell ill despite receiving the jab five weeks before — was unconscious when his daughter, Michelle Torres, saw him briefly during a FaceTime call Friday morning.

“He’s not doing too well now. The doctors said right now it’s still up to his body to keep going,” said Torres, her voice quaking with emotion.

“He isn’t conscious, we’re just looking at him,” she said.

Torres, who hasn’t been allowed to visit her father at the hospital because she also has COVID-19, said her family is heartbroken over his deteriorating health.

“It’s a lot, you’re praying and wanting the best. And it took a turn for the worse,” she said.

Cosme, who is diabetic, was put on a ventilator at 5 a.m. Friday — but the “oxygen level” on the machine “isn’t where it needs to be,” she said.

Cosme first began to feel symptoms of the coronavirus, including a cough and chills, on April 1 after getting the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the Javits Center on March 6. He was rushed to the John F. Kennedy Medical Center last week, where he is still being treated.

Torres said she now wants Johnson & Johnson to do more research on the vaccine — and to clarify that people may still be hospitalized with the coronavirus, even after they’ve received the shot.

“Do more research and revise [your] statement,” she said.

In another New Jersey case, Shannon Kelly, 25, of Tabernacle, told The Post she fell ill with COVID-19 earlier this month after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Kelly said she got the shot on March 11 at a CVS in Clementon and felt fine at first.

“Three weeks later, I had a cold, congestion, and an earache,” said Kelly, who works at a private school. “I lost my smell and my taste. I have bad cough and shortness of breath.”

On Saturday, she tested positive for COVID-19, despite being otherwise fit and healthy, she said.

“I’ve been in bed for two weeks now,” she said, adding her cough hasn’t let up yet.

“[It’s] surprising. I knew Johnson & Johnson wasn’t as effective as the other two. Yet I’m young, healthy, and in shape.”

Earlier this week, a 39-year-old Brooklyn man said he got sick from COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the Johnson & Johnson jab.
