Correct, but there still pushing everyone has to have it and if you don't, you could spread it and KILL an old person, despite it doesn't stop you, spreading or catching it, so anyone under the age of 60 without health issues, plainly doesn't need to take it. It's not a Vaccine, atleast not like 1 ever produced before, it's experimental, the companies making it and have no liability for future harm done, there is no long term testing ie 5years+ obviously and they want everyone on the planet to take it. Seems a bit early to go for the vaccine, but hopefully it works or at least the elders die from the vaccine rather than from the covid, so we re done with the lockdown. Sounds a bit crazy they insist on giving the vaccine to elders who already have covid antibodies ( 55% of the care home population in Madrid on last check), especially when they re far fron sure the vaccine will work longer than the antibodies. Looks like the world will take quite some time to open up and drop deshumanisation processes ( social distancing, isolation). Health services might start reviewimg their quarantine procedures, lots of healthy people are locked in their house for being considered a close contact
The you've had it, but if you have the Vaccine then you'll be even more immune for longer, so far not aware of anyone in the world in real world who's had it twice, so why do you want everyone to have it. All NHS staff are having it, it's not like 100% of them haven't been exposed and had it already. None of it adds up, in a few years time when all the scared freaks realise they've just traded a mild virus with zero risk to them, to likely some serious health complications, then well it's too damn late.
Elders in care homes have had a terrible year, not much left to live anyway and they saw their social life more limited even than thr general population, they ve added 2 months of restrictions on visits and outings to care homes here, to protect those folks from infection while they get jabbed and imunisation starts working.
Basically your in a care home your dying anyway at some stage, they've had nearly 12months in the UK, stuck in the care home unable to even get visits, not that they get many anyway as nobody cares about old people really. The Workers are still going home and to the shops, so there still getting it anyway, just being slowed down slightly. Also hospitals where taking in a patient, that'd get Covid test positive then be returned to the care home to die and infect everyone else and nobody cared WTF!!
My wife works at UC Davis Microbiology Department, she will be vaccinated, and trust me most faculty too. If they can do it, I cannot see why you ninnies are this negative on vaccines.
