That would be true provided they benefited from stability. With incredible amounts of wealth, (localized) instability isn't an issue and as any trader should know, it is possible to profit further from volatility.
I see what you mean but the traders are only a small fraction of the population. Would you like to live and perhaps starve in a chaotic shambles like Venezuela ?

If you have the kind of wealth being referenced in this thread, you would live like a king even in Venezuela, but more importantly, you would already have real estate, houses, and other holdings throughout the world and wouldn't be stuck in Venezula, which is why I said localized instability is a non-issue for these people.
I was referring more to your average Joe like me not some billionaire who can live in luxury where they choose.
