I especially like when Maria Barfaroma was on the floor and after seeing the futures locked down would say "well folks it looks like we are gonna see some selling (through lisp) at the open". What a world class journalist huh? And now she has a book and website of her own! Yea baby, I have to get that book, must be very informative LOL!.
i skimmed her book at a bookstore. it's absolutely abysmal. faber's book is a good *read*...hers is a waste of trees.
Morning yucks at CNBC....they show a photo of Joe Kernan with a moustache on it. Financial journalism at its finest...... What would be funnier would be to post the recommended stock lists of Ape Woman, Joey BattaPig, Ned Rally, Al Goldham, etc. and show how much they have lost for their clients.
if this guy doesn't goto jail, there is something very, very wrong with this country. But let's not "harass" him, as he would call it, except how about his endless harassment of the little investors whose face he was in for years peddling bogus stocks. If you saw the townhouse he lives in on E. 82nd st. it would make you sick, or you'd want to throw an egg at it. Vinny
Speaking of Maria, my favorite is her update on the DJI average about 15 seconds into the trading day when only a few of the stocks have opened.
I love the way she stands there with her little clipboard (which she never looks at, BTW - what is it, for show?) and microphone, standing in the way of the floor traders who are trying to make a living actually doing something useful. Just once I'd like to see someone brush up against her ass cheeks on the way by.
Watch closely and you will. She then turns and gives the offending feel copper a "Die!" look that is, as the Mastercard ads say, priceless.
Yikes! I just read on another board that they trotted out Old Abby Jo on CNBC. Well that's the end of this rally-bounce, she has become a great contra indicator. Did she say if she still though that Enron was a good value?
