I don't know who you think I am. I'm not a vendor, I'm not in ANY chatroom and you don't know the first thing about my trading. I do know that what I see here on ET is a mirror of a troubling trend in society. A bunch of people who scream, yell, insult and try to bully the rest of the world if they don't get their way, I could almost here you stomping your feet with all those caps. The reason you like a "forum" is you can get the insults in and not have to worry about a realtime response. This place sure isn't what I was told it was, I won't be back here.

I have no problem with people like you who want to go into a chatroom!!!! If you, as a customer do not want to see his trading statements and do not care that you are possibly being taught by a bozo, then that is your perogative, and if after all the warnings, you still feel that you can benefit, then I heed to your own wisdom.

But what about those that do care? Why would you or this guy oppose it? Just post it! No harm done, right? You don't care, don't look at it! Those that do, will - simple, no?

It's sooooo simple, but people want to circumvent disclosing their trading statements like the Black Plague. Gee, I wonder why? What do you think?

LMT, don't worry dude. There are people like this everywhere you turn your head. There are some constructive posters on this board, you just gotta look. :) Nitro seems to have zero people skills. I just ran a seach on his name and skimmed over his last 25 posts and found nothing of any value whatsoever. His purpose is clear on this board. Just use the ignore feature, and you can filter him/her out like market noise.

and a big thanks to nas for the advice. A great service.

  6. indicators are great for analysis, projections and gaining an understanding of the market. however, analysis and trading are two completely different disciplines. untill you can see this concept clearly, you will just be churning your account with the masses of those who want to understand but can not. yes, you will have winning streaks, yes several of these streaks will last quite some time for some of you--however in the end--if you break even--- you are lucky. this is why hedge funds, banks, et al have analysts ( technical and fundamental ) and traders--it is rare that they are the same person--although it does happen on occasion.

dr.bob has it correct when he states money management is the key. i take this premise further by stating --'self management' is most important in trading. all the money management ability will get you no where if you can not manage yourself.

look inside, not at indicators, if you want to improve your trading.

Yep, dbp, that is the issue. I doubt you and I will agree on the answer to this for some time, if ever.

Who is right - who is wrong? Perhaps we are both right. Some traders may find the experience at Woodie's CCI Club beneficial, others may not, at least that is what we have witnessed in the posts to this thread. Of course, we will never see 100% one way or the other.

Consequently, we can keep debating this issue "until the cows come home," or we can accept that whatever works for the individual trader is all that is important.

I do believe you and I are in agreement on the latter.

To believe that posting a statement, whether annual, monthly or daily, is going to prove anything is very naive - assuming that is your suggestion. Posting a statement of any type can be manipulated. With as many scam artists in this industry, the last suggestion of any "proof" I am going to perceive as accurate is a "posted" statement of some type.

(I got quite a kick out of one poster's offer to post his/her statement for a fee :) )

I would think you elite, you gotta do SIZE traders would realize that..........
