  1. Nice post Sampson. All credit to you but some people will never get it.

They probably wouldn't know a spade if they found one in a corner.

I would also support the next poster in saying that Woodie improved my trading and that of many others. Who cares about his personal statements. Ego gamers perhaps.

Spending time reading some of these guys is a bit like watching Jerry Springer. Entertaining but leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Nitro has only 13 more posts to go until he reaches 5000 posts which will make him more elite than he is now so its hard to see your motivation outlasting his - his 5000 minutes of fame.

Once again, I defer to my previous posts where I challenge anyone to point out where Woodie has made any claims as to his personal profitability regarding the methods in which he advocates.

Personally, I could care less about Woodie's profitability. As I stated earlier, his methods have helped me tremendously – who cares about his tax returns?? His methods have assisted me in my personal trade development so why should I, or you, or anyone else, for that matter, be concerned with Woodie’s results. Who cares and what difference does it make?? As long as I have benefited from the generous contributions offered by Woodie and others in the room, why should I be concerned about anyone else’s personal trading results? It makes no sense. No one makes any claims regarding profitability, winning trade percentages, or the Holy Grail. It is not a “live call” room where outrageous claims are made in exchange for a monthly fee. So what difference does it make as long as myself and others are benefiting from what is being offered for free? I guess a room set up for no other purpose than to foster the education and growth of a trader is just inconceivable to most of you…

When I was in Business School, I was taught by some of the best professors in the country. Their commitment and dedication to my success was unwavering. Did I question their personal motives? No. Again, I couldn’t care less as they were providing me with an invaluable education. Did I demand two years Tax returns from my securities analysis professor, for example? Did I snicker behind his back, calling him a loser because he was an educator and not a captain of industry? No – It didn’t matter to me. His teachings proved invaluable and contributed accordingly to my advanced degree and I can’t begin to thank him enough.

Lastly, regarding the cult like status assigned to Woodie’s room participants by the many posters on this thread, I must say that it would appear that you are being very hypocritical. It seems that you are the ones who have banned together in a cult like manner to attack someone for no reason other than an apparent lack of understanding and belief in his true motives. I’ve been an observer of this site for some time now, and I can honestly say that this type of behavior is commonplace by most regular posters. It never fails that an educational thread ultimately turns hostile and quickly loses focus of its original intent…

  3. make a wish appears to be a noble organization and i wish them all the best--- on their website they list sponsors of 50k plus--- woodies room is not listed or alluded to in the sponsor list--- with 500plus succesful traders it would be just $100.00 per person to be a MAJOR donor to make a wish.

there is something not right here......

Surf, I think woodie just asks people to donate to them.. You don't have to put his name to the donation-

  5. Now the issue would be focussing on simply and merely whether the knowledge being transferred from someone to others is legitimate and valid.

  6. although i can appreciate your dedication to the woodie room, most of us on elite have been thru the guru following stage and can smell BS from quite a ways, hence the vehmenent opposition to anything that will lead new traders down the primrose path.

That's just it...who said anything about blindly following a guru?? Have you guys been self appointed as keepers of the gate? I've been trading for over eight years now, I can honestly say that I too can recognize BS and I see nothing wrong with what Woodie is providing. I've only been in his room for two months and I have found his contributions to be invaluable to my trading. If you consider this to be BS, then so be it...
