  1. This whole cult thing is hilarious.

Gimme a break... If woodie's room is a cult what the heck are we in here?

As far as woody MAYBE getting some affiliate advertising revenue all the power to him.

Does anyone criticize ET for allowing affiliate advertising?

Sometimes you guys need to think before you type!!!
This can be applied to order entries too, you know ;)

I'm not defending him, like I said I didn't like the room personally but I wasn't stupid enough to just write it off. I at least stuck around for awhile before I made any judgements.

The worst thing that can happen to you in his room (as long as you ONLY paper trade the set ups) is that you may find yourself making a donation to an EXCELLENT charity. I did and it felt great.

Hey, shut up about this! We want the 400+ fools to keep thinking they can make money using only CCI. :)

(I'm sure Woodies intentions are good. So were Ponzi's.)

  4. i tried to be nice to the old phony guru--however, now i understand he is ripping on this site and the traders here.

the guy refuses to prove his claims, he will not advise as to how much money, if any, he has given to the charity , his indicators and methods are yesterdays news.

we are still waiting for you to come clean, mr woodie.

  10. Kiwi,

Just reread my post and see where I was unclear. I mentioned your name because you mentioned the people booted from the room. And my reaction to your critism of those people that were booted was directed towards that remark.

I was talking about a protege from mine (and definitely not you) and I apologize for the confusion. I was going to amend the first post to correct it but it proved not to be possible as it can only be amended in the first 60 minutes after posting.

Then on my trading: The fact of the matter is that I have found some Woodie setups that are profitable to fade under certain circumstances.

I got this idea of fading when I went through the old posts and noticed the differences between those and now. I started to wonder why someone would change a profitable setup. ( Indeed if a setup is so profitable then why change? ) If you watch closely someone like GB007 - whose genuity I do believe - then you'll see that he has not changed his setup for years. That to me is an indication that there may be something solid to his method.

But going from TLB to divergence & hidden divergences, from taking a HFE when it breaks through the 120 to taking it at 100, going from tick charts to minute charts and now going from minute charts to VT charts and then coming up with a "new" Vegas Trade (which by the way is nothing but a trade described by Welles Wilder in his book "New Concepts in Technical Trading systems" on page 68) starts ringing some bells.

And then we have the the "count down timer" or "getting in early" Well if you see a setup happening and then you know everyone is going is step in at the close of the bar then you have some great opportunity if you step in ahead of the crowd.

And asking a question in the room? They seem to be more concerned on how to get a DLL working and getting more colors up than a christmas tree than answering some straight forward trading questions.

Once again, I apologize for the confusion (in the earlier posting on http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29671&perpage=6&pagenumber=20 ) by implying Kiwi to be my protege when in fact it is another person.

And do not construe this as that I am rubbishing Ken Wood or the CCI club, or the likes of yourself who contribute a lot. One can learn a lot from the group but you''ll have to dig very deep.

As usual "nothing is what it seems to be" and on Wall Street it is all smoke and mirrors to help with getting the money from the goats.
