Who is (very) successful with the ICT Silver Bullet strategy ?

  1. I don't see anything special. He comes across as the average guru/salesman/scammer to me.

    Also, I don't see any of his proponents in this thread indicate or show that they have achieved any substantial success with this method which was what the OP asked. Only that they have found some 'value' (whatever the hell that means) in his 'teachings'.

    Successful trading is about being successful. No ifs and buts. You're either making money or you're not.

    That's the thing, guys. Trading is a very marginal business. You simply need to nail it down. You can still be right about a move and still lose money if your execution isn't good. The thing about these gurus is that often what they're saying does make sense and may even contain some good elements, but at the end of the day it will not hold up for profitable trading.

  3. That's the thing about ICT shills. They love to live in hindsight and what-ifs.

  4. While you're correct, let's be fair hindsight trading is a pastime of a lot of traders of all skill levels and types of trading. Even traders who everyone says are so good and respect, even some of them love themselves some good quality hindsight trading.

    Why do we think discord rooms that have a heavy focus on chat are so popular? It's so perfect gives you time to delay your message, edit it, delete it, use excuses as to why you posted something late and etc. Have some of the same guys with so much market clarity and telling you how much they know, hop on a voice call. All of the sudden the energy changes and the clarity turns into muddy waters.

    True. Hindsight trading has many names. Regardless it's still one of the best ways to develop as a trader and train oneself to "see" a future iteration develop in real-time thereby capitalizing on the opportunity.

    As for Discos, this is funny;

  6. Not talking about individual development, of course looking back helps train your brain what to look for and how to envision the trade playing out real time. That's a totally separate thing than people using hindsight to mislead others or pretend like they are good at trading for disingenuous reasons.

    No disagreeing or debating, just from my perspective we're not really talking about the same things here.

    Vinni emini has built his entire social media presence on trolling ICT. He also doxxed & stalked the wrong guy.

    ICT posted his real address momentarily on twitter, I checked the county records, it's legit and it's not the dude, the dude's car nor his house that Vinny has in that vid.

    I concur.
    Slightly off-topic, in contemporary cultural context, "free speech" has devolved into straight up lying without repercussions. However, the recent civil lawsuits awarding judgements lately are pushing against this tide.

  10. The problem is that these guys use pure hindsight to try to convince those watching that they make the right call every single time. People who sell courses typically do this. Someone like me who focuses on hindsight is usually doing so in backtesting.
