He's probably just trying to pay down previous campaign debt by getting some media attention.

Most School teachers are a bunch of whiners.
For 50 years they been saying give us more money and we will give you a better education system.
    ...So much for that.

Here Johnny, you're 15 now, so for your birthday, I'd like to present you with this blue ribbon for being able to stand up and say the whole alphabet.
Next year, you will be required to be able to multiply 2 x 7.
    Start studying.

July the 4th coming up and lots of folks are running around all over the country scared out of their minds.
When Reagan was running things, I wasn't worried about some terrorist knocking me in the head.
"Funny" how times have change, huh?

  7. I doubt Webb can do much, considering who votes in democrat primaries, but he is an interesting guy. He is kind of an old school democrat, before they went crazy. In fact, he used to be a republican and served either the Reagan or Bush administrations, then changed parties to run for Senate in Virginia.

Unlike the other democrat candidates, he is a serious guy who understands military power and its limits.

  8. I know that Webb is not some leftist kook. Has serious combat experience, knows what the military should and shouldn't be doing. Smart guy and well versed in the political game domestic and foreign. Downsides, politically speaking, he's been married 3 times and is currently married to a Vietnamese/American. Might cause him some mild heartburn, especially the 3 marriages.
I just think he's in the ring as a potential counter balance to Clinton. He'll attract people from the center. IMO he has little chance of being a real contender, but would be a smart VP pick Clinton, assuming she doesn't implode over the next year.
