Futurecurrents wants a tax on Carbon. Why don't we start taxing some of the other 117 elements in the periodic table. How about a tax on Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Fluorine - as they are also involved in green house gases. Why not simply tax Polonium, Hassium, and Radium while we are at it because they sound dangerous. Why aren't we taxing all 118 elements - if we tax Carbon then we need to tax them all.
