Someone must have missed his weekly dose of risperdal. I guess the "supposed" hole in my ass was probably just a really good make up job eh?

I would guess pay-per-sale marketing is an internet phenom where ad revenue and banner-clicks are directly tied?

And you're right, Wallstreet is 98% marketing. 75% of managers can't beat the S&P 500. So they dazzle with slick MBA's, eggheads and mountains of curve-fit data.

  3. I find some of his posts quite bizarre but I can't actually see what he's trying to achieve here or how he's expecting to achieve it.

It seems like he's trying to market himself as a marketeer, if that's the case then he's doing a terrible job of it.

Semi-literate posts, unsubstantiated and irrelevant claims, numbers that don't add up, videos of himself in a hospital bed, immature arguments, ridiculous challenges and bets .....is that really the way people promote themselves or their business? I can't see any potential client in their right mind being impressed by any of the stuff he's written here, on the contrary I imagine they would be embarrassed to be associated with such an incompetent, inarticulate, and frankly very odd person.

Most marketing people I've come across are quite polished in their presentation, they understand that first impressions are fundamental to their business. Videos of yourself looking disheveled and unshaved spouting nonsense are hardly a good first impression!

    It's all very strange behavior.....

  4. Really? I don't see it, at least Doug Allen was articulate and literate, he had a polished and well presented sales pitch (good enough to get hundreds of people salivating anyway!), now that's a real marketing man! Nowhere in that thread or on his website did I read any of the nonsense that this brandon guy's been spouting.

Doug Allen came across as a mature, wealthy, experienced and knowledgeable person with something worthwhile to offer, whereas this guy comes off as an inexperienced, immature college kid with wild fantasies and some quite bizarre arguments. No comparison as far as I can see but I guess we're all impressed by different things......

Anyway, kicked the old biddy out and got your office back now?

    :)

  5. And it works, people are understandibly more impressed by that kind of presentation, (as Timmayyy put it) "why trust a 25-year-old working out of his apartment".

Did you ever watch Wall Street Warriors? There was an excellent (and amusing) contrast between the professionals and the wannabe's, well worth watching :D

  6. Folks, let us sit down and consider this post our friend Brandon made. He posted a picture of a heavily diseased ass.

The first possibility, and frankly the most likely one, is that he found that image from Google and posted it here. He's very desperate to lure us into believing in his medical story, yet the more he tries to prove it with his absurd claims and photos, the more it is obvious that tangible evidence to back his proof does not exist.

Perhaps I am wrong in my assumption, and that photo is indeed valid.

Let us then consider the second possibility:
THE DUDE JUST POSTED A PICTURE OF HIS ASS - WITH AN ABNORMAL, DISEASED HOLE - ON A PUBLIC FORUM IN A THREAD ON FOREX TRADING, !!!IN AN ATTEMPT TO GAIN CREDIBILITY!!!

  8. LMFAO (no pun intended!), thank God someone else found that strange because I was beginning to think I was the only one!

Jeez this whole thread is getting surreal, what the fuck did my wife put in these cookies!!!

  9. Doug seemed shady from the start. But he was well groomed.
Impressed may not be the right term, more fascinated.
Brandon seems bent on convincing us (of all people!) that he is a successful marketer. But, why? There may be a personality disorder with a long name that describes his attempts. His perserverance is admirable, but my admiration is tinged with pity, because it reminds me of a young boy in a playground that would do anything to hang around with the big kids, taking attention any way he can, even if it's with malice. Maybe I see myself somewhere in his rants, and it scares me.
    Yeah. Maybe not!
Yes, she is gone. Free at last, free at last, etc....
Strangely enough, on a trading note, I took over 150 pips from the EUR/USD and AUD/USD swing trading last week. Swing trades because I spent less time in front of the screens, as my system was still in the cellar. Pics are posted over in the hardware thread.:D

  10. lol, yeah I saw the pics, very high tech :D

It makes you wonder though, some of my best trades have been when I've had to go out or lost connection etc etc or been trading off a 15" laptop. It seems contradictory but the more adverse the trading conditions (office/pc not market conditions), the better the trades seem to be!

I've often wondered if automated is the way to go....
