who is pegging the ETF's so early in the am ?

I have noticed something I did not see last yr

QQQ + SPY and even sometimes DIA arbitrage closely
pegged to the overnight stock index futures starting

at 5 am ( or maybe 6 am)

I did not see this start so early last yr ?

someone must think they can make money doing it

although it provides liquidity .... it prevents me from

doing my own arb with wider spreads

 

Even the big boys are fighting for the scraps. We used to be able to pick up dollars blowing around in the streets now we are all fighting over the occasional nickel or dime. Today was terrible

 

Where are you looking at QQQ and SPY at 6AM? Is that East Coast?

 

east coast ... but it can be from anywhere
just diff time zone then
