Who is on the other side of KM Trades?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by nitro, Feb 6, 2002.

  1. On OO there have been cases where a trader has accidently used the previous day's data due to Redi not updating it's prices and this so called trader found himself down $50,000 in less than 2 minutes. So yeah I'm a little more cautious. It's why you MUST double check all of your data for OO.

OK market opened positive. I only got filled on one OO but made money on it (I was more cautious after yesterday and put the envelope even further away---I'll bring it back to normal tomorrow)

So PPD and AH were no automatically not on my playbook.

ppd as I'm checking it now will be on tonight's watchlist again as it is up another 1.60 as of this writing

    AH is also up

YCC was negative this morning so no trading it.

BLX was scary. I'm never seen a meaner specialist. I bought a lot less size this morning than I normally do.

He pennied me over and over again. No price improvements.

But I was on the same side as he was and the major sellers were out of the market so there was nothing he could do.

    Long at 16.20

...........and sold at 16.48 sold at 16.63 sold some more at 16.78 and finished my position at 16.86

So made an average .48 on him today

    :D

Today was much easier than yesterday. I'll post my scans for next few days again.

So again so prove my type of play look at BLK on a daily

    nasty isn't it?

but today was a positive day fpr me and the market.
The stock opened positive and had huge bidders all the way up.

  5. Looked at my scans and they look like cr*p. Nothing golden so not executing anything. I'd love to short PPD but market isn't red and don't want to fight market.

Going to play with envelopes or run some volume plays today instead

    quick edit

market turned negative so PPD is now shortable I do have something to play

Looks like PPD is hard to borrow, so you have company.

  7. I've never had trouble getting stock for shorts/ bullets.

I ended up covering PPD for a small loss.

Didn't make anything on my opening orders this morning but only got one fill --actually I made .02 so I scratched it

I started playing with some of my screens and first alert and made back the majority of losses for the day.

Hopefully something will be around tomorrow to play.

  9. My dad also bought some KM when it went down to 72 cents.
He thinks the company will survive and actually end up going
over $10 again! I think he should of sold when it just ran up
to the $1.50 area. But what do I know?

  10. Could this be the start again of the crazy Internet days when 100% profit on a stock wasn't enough. :D
